Experimental architecture

It started with a boy's dream as a cardboard model: raising a octagonal platform in three meter height around an oak tree. With a rope ladder, a sunny balkony and two ample berths. With table and benches, shelves and of course windows.

The construction has to withstand the elements and hold the weight of at least two adults. Platform and framework and panels are made from pressure impregnated spruce wood. For the roof larch clapboards have been used.

The color scheme of this "zero energy house" is derived from the natural colours you can find in oak trees: stone grey, pastel green and ockre yellow.
