kilde communications is a design agency based in Hamburg, Germany, focussing its services for small and middle sized companies, agencies and consultancies as well as for business sections of large enterprises.

Among the national and international brands and clients we have worked for are Beiersdorf, DaimlerChrysler, edding, Eucerin, kulturpalast, MAGTOUCH, Studio Hamburg and Yogi Tea.

Our core competence is crossmedia visual communications. Key to our success is the ability to combine down-to-earth arts and crafts with the creative and innovative power of the internet.

Content, design and usability are the three pillars of the emotional and functional unity of our output. Our agency's strength lies in a complete approach: profound analysis and consultancy, detailed planning of the process and first class realization.

We have handled tasks and developed projects in traditional design realms of brand identity, corporate design and packaging design. Our most recent projects focus on the development of web applications and interface usability.

kilde has initiated sitelupe (www.sitelupe.com). This web based platform secures usability and quality of web sites with minor budgets by enhancing and simplifying the review process for expert web site testing.

kilde has evolved from the design studio KilDe - Kilian Design in 2000. Today we are a small team plus a well established network of freelance experts. In the 1990s founder and owner Joerg Kilian was gathering experience as art director and designer in Hamburg based agencies.

Since 1985 he has explored digital design: teaching in international design schools and writing articles and books. In the late 1990s he was art director and consultant for inhouse communication projects in major multinational enterprises.
